No one is an island to themselves
Even though we have forged our own path we couldn’t have done it if it hadn’t been for the people who have inspired, influenced or touched us.
Whether it is through their heart, mind, life, wisdom, experience, work, attitude or style, each and everyone brings a color to the palette that is unique to them.
By no means it is to say that these people are “realised.” Nor it is to say that they are “perfect.” Far from it, some are even controversial or disgraced. Be that as it may, it is to show that we have an intuitive and eclectic approach. These people come from all walks of life. Their life paths are all different, as are their expressions, thoughts and emotions, ways, perceptions and how they view the world.
We have picked up inspirations as much from the pulpits as from the streets and as much from an accepted as from a cancelled individual.
Once learned, we do not hold on to the teaching nor to the one delivering it.
