How naive
to push to the back of our mind
that we will loose.
When all the while
the world is crumbling and changing every moment.
How naive
to push to the back of our mind
that we will die.
When death follows life
and creation emerges from destruction. How naive
to push to the back of our mind
that our actions will have consequences.
When everything is interconnected
and nothing remains in complete isolation.
How naive
to push to the back of our mind
that we will be left behind.
When parents bring their children
and children bring their parents to the grave.
How naive to push
to the back of our mind
that we will need to heal.
When people cut themselves from another through divisive words and concepts.
Embracing, opening, breathing presence,
Grasping nothing, being now and all.Fearless is the one
to truly feel connected,
An unconditionally
loving fool he is.
And how veraciously naive.
