Joe prays every night to God.
He says, “Please God, please, let me win the lottery.”
He is persistent, and doesn’t leave a single night out.
(Probably he has read many self-help books and knows that consistency is key.)

Years go by. Lotto night come and go. Joe still has no luck.
One night, Joe prays his usual prayer, “Please God, please, let me win the lottery.”
Suddenly he hears the voice of God Himself, “I would love to, but buy a lottery ticket first!”
