A rock sits still
Our conditioning is such that our value and security come only from what we do and achieve.
Does a rock have to go anywhere, be anyone, or seek anything?
We might not even notice how we are completely used to being busy until the moment we sit down and deliberately do nothing. Our conditioning is such that our value and security come only from what we do and achieve. To decondition ourselves we need to recognize that our “value” is inherent and doesn’t need any titles, accolades or awards. We liberate ourselves by getting out of this habit and silencing our agitated, conditioned mind.
Just as we say ‘Pick your battles,’ we can also pick our busy-ness, what is worth our busyness.
