Inexpressible truths

Can you relate to this feeling?
Some things cannot be said. They are transcendent, inexpressible truths, inexpressible wisdom and spiritual experiences that are elusive to the limiting structure of words.
Eventually we would reach into the air, like a shadow boxer does, and have nothing to hold onto when we attempt to grasp them as if they were solid.
There are these experiences and realizations that we just cannot express. These feelings of needing to communicate something incredibly important but being unable to do so leave us grappling with a profound sense of frustration and longing, as if we’re standing on the shores of understanding, but the words remain just out of reach, like ships disappearing over the horizon.
It is as if the essence of what we want to convey is trapped within the confines of our being, struggling to find a voice that adequately captures its depth and significance. These ineffable sensations often linger at the edge of our consciousness, teasing us with their ephemeral nature. We may grasp at words, searching for the perfect combination to articulate the profound truths pulsating within us, yet they slip through our fingers like grains of sand.
In moments like these, we may turn to other forms of expression – art, poetry, music, or even silence – to bridge the gap between what we feel and what we can convey.
Yet, despite our limitations, there is a beauty in the struggle to express the inexpressible. So, even as we grapple with the inadequacy of language, we continue to reach out, to strive for connection, and to honor the silent symphony of our innermost truths.
To recognize the universe we need to become the universe and experience unity through our devotion. That is something we cannot talk about, only experience.
“The best things can’t be told: the second best, metaphors, are misunderstood.” Heinrich Zimmer (1890-1943)
